Among lush forests, flowering pastures and majestic peaks, the Valle Stura welcomes you with its authentic nature and the slow rhythm of the mountains.
A pristine valley where every season tells a story, every village preserves ancient traditions and every path takes you away from everyday life.
Located between the Maritime and Cottian Alps, on the border with France, the Valley is crossed by the Stura River and dotted with small Alpine villages.
A land of unique flavors, with three Slow Food Presidia and many local businesses that still believe in an economy linked to agriculture, sheep farming and conscious tourism.
Discover a place where the experience is truly authentic — made of nature, culture and people.
Mountains, lakes, pastures and history. In Valle Stura every detail leaves its mark.

A union of businesses and people who believe in the future of the Valley.
The Valle Stura Experience network brings together hoteliers, restaurateurs, hiking guides, producers and artisans who share a vision: to grow the Stura Valley in a sustainable, collaborative and authentic way.
A pristine and wild valley, a ski mountaineering paradise in winter, enriched by a very long river to travel by rafting during the spring and a dense network of paths to discover on foot, on horseback or by bike in summer.
Born in 2018, it works every day to promote the area through events, tailor-made experiences and activities that make the Valley lively and welcoming, in all seasons.
The network’s members live the Valley all year round, they know its soul and work together to build a future made of quality, hospitality and respect for the territory.
Deep Roots, shared vision.
