A late 19th-century bakery, a friendship, and a shared passion
In January 2018, “La Fame – Forno a Legna” was born in the municipality of Roccasparvera, in the lower valley.
Anna, Matteo, and Sirio have brought together a late 19th-century bakery, closed since 1984, a passion for cooking, and a strong friendship. But don’t be fooled by the name, La Fame isn’t just a bakery! Here, you’ll find everything you can bake in a wood-fired oven: bread, focaccia, breadsticks, pizzas, cornmeal and barbarià biscuits, baci di dama (lady kisses), cakes, as well as baked Ula (meatballs) and meat dishes. You can also eat lunch at one of the tables inside or on the outdoor terrace.
Come visit them to enjoy all this delicacy, immersed in the peaceful atmosphere of the town’s central square!
