In the Castello hamlet of Pietraporzio in the upper Stura Valley, Chiara and Laura, along with Isabelle (French and in love with the Stura Valley), share management roles at Arpaouza (Casa del Riposo). This holiday home, a unique approach to hospitality, has preserved the local identity by transforming a small mountain village into four delightful residences with flowery Occitan names (La Campaneto, Lou Serpoul, Lou Brouas, Lou Chardoun), designed primarily for families with children and outdoor enthusiasts.
The apartments are equipped with every comfort: dishwasher, oven, independent heating, and Wi-Fi. The common room features a washing machine, fireplace, sauna, and a large play area for adults and children.
Everything is designed with sustainability in mind: part of the energy is produced using solar panels, and two apartments are accessible for disabled guests.
E-bikes for exploring the many trails in the area are available to guests and can be rented for half or full days.
Also not to be missed is the small church that hosts the celebrations in August.
