If you leave the Valle Stura state road and take the Strada Militare road that runs along the opposite side, you can’t miss the peaceful hamlet of Forani, in the municipality of Aisone. Just like the tiny hamlet in which it’s located, Camping il Castagneto, managed by the passionate Flavio, is ready to welcome campers who choose to stay here with its simple and comfortable facilities. Besides its peaceful and bucolic setting, the property is located near one of the valley’s most important springs, the Forani fountain, whose water is reputed to be of the highest quality.
Arranged in terraces with plenty of shade, it offers a total of 67 pitches, all surrounded by greenery. It also features a bar, children’s playground, a bocce court, and a beach volleyball court.
The campsite is a welcoming place, ideal for those who want to relax and enjoy the splendid view of the Stura Valley mountains. It offers guests the opportunity to spend a holiday or even just a weekend immersed in nature and in total relaxation.
For customers without their own transportation, caravans are rented with pre-entry.
