Bounded by the walls of Fort Albertine and the Stura River, the Forti campground, open from April 25 to the end of September, has more than 300 sites for tents, campers and caravans.
It is an ideal starting point for the practice of outdoor sports such as trekking, mtb, road biking (a few kilometers away you can try your hand at the historic climbs of Colle della Lombarda and Colle Fauniera), canyoning, but also a perfect place for moments of relaxation to be spent in the shade of the lush vegetation or on the shores of a splendid bathing lake.
Just a few steps from your pitch you can find the center of the village with stores of typical products, bars, restaurants, as well as one of the most significant examples of military architecture in the entire Alps, which can be visited with expert guides who will allow you to grasp all the peculiarities of this work.
Stefano, manager of the campground, will also be able to recommend the best views of the Valley to discover on foot or by renting an e-bike that will allow you to experience the many mtb trails.
