Artisan cuisine and Piera’s sincere smile are the right ingredients to feel at home.
In 2009, Piera realized her dream by taking over a club in the hamlet of Trinità di San Giacomo, in the Arma Valley that climbs from Demonte to Colle Fauniera. This place is now Lou Stau, a charming mountain trattoria built around simple but enduring principles: top-quality artisanal cuisine with 99% local ingredients, homemade bread and pasta, ingredients gathered wild on her hikes, mountain produce, a warm chat, and a wonderful smile. Her strength is her overwhelming passion for cooking, her work, and the area where she has chosen to live.
She is also an athlete and in her free time, you can often find her running along the Vallone trails.
