Location<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p><span class=\"\">A few kilometers from Demonte, on an easy road, you reach the locality Laugero, in the hamlet of Bergemolo, where the \u201cOlmo Bianco Hiking Shelter\u201d is located. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>A stopover place for many trekking, mtb \/ ebike or horseback riding routes, the lodge is a great place to stay both in winter (open Friday through Sunday) and summer (open daily).<\/p>\n<p>The shelter is named for the presence of the White Elm, a centuries-old tree dating back to 1620 and recognized as one of Piedmont&#8217;s monumental trees that dwells in front of the chapel of St. Michael the Archangel (also from that era) adjacent to the structure of the venue.<\/p>\n<p>Here Claudio and Grazia will know how to welcome you and let you taste local products and traditional Piedmontese dishes, cared for and prepared for you daily.<\/p>\n<p>To fully enjoy the area&#8217;s many outdoor offerings you can stay overnight at the facility, in a
